Praising the very best dogs

While there is no shortage of humans competing for supporting actor laurels this award season, let us take a step back and recognize the canine entertainers in films campaigning for kudos, in the cute Labs in "Bridesmaids" for an animated pug in "Gnomeo and Juliet." HIGHLIGHTSHere are a handful of photos with top dogs that deserve a goody within this year's honours race:'The Adventures of Tintin' Smart boy reporter Tintin would not crack a situation without his partner Snowy, who reveals clues and criminals. 'The Artist' George Valentin's closest friend doesn't have title within the B&W quiet, but he stays using the actor through the years as well as rescues him from fire.'Beginners' Arthur may be the constant companion for Oliver (Ewan McGregor) -- and who does not just like a speaking (subtitled) dog?'Hugo' The Station Inspector's able assistant is really a Doberman Pinscher who gets control for his hurt master.'Young Adult' While Mavis has gone out creating havoc in her own home town, her Pomeranian is with patience waiting, kept in your accommodation room.Even though it isn't a pooch, we'd be remiss as we did not provide a shout to the goose in'War Equine,' whose impeccable timing warrants a respectable mention.
